This second book in the Lev Krev series is specifically created for use in primary schools. The songs and accompanying information can hopefully work as a springboard to help plan activities across the curriculum. All the songs have been tried out at various primary schools in Cornwall by teachers or arts practitioners through the initial Lev Krev training project (2009-11) funded by Sing Up. The aim of the Lev Krev series is to help establish a sense of place and a sense of belonging through learning Cornish songs, passing on traditions and sharing stories. We also hope to increase the amount of singing that's happening locally, taking singing into the classroom and beyond, from school into the community and the local environment, braeking down barriers and furthering inter-generational links.
