March sees Trevada Music make its annual visit to the Regional Brass Band Championships.
Leonard and Karen will be attending Bedworth (13th/14th) and Stevenage (20th/21st)
Wyn will be at Swansea (20th/21st)and
Mark and Simon will be at Torquay (13th/14th)

We have received stocks of titles that are sure to benefit all brass players and interest bands looking for new pieces. New titles for brass band that have just arrived and are sure to make an impact include Magee's Patrol and A Hebridean Lullaby by Philip Harper, and Prelude To A Celebration by Tom Davoren.
A Hebridean Lullaby is a solo composed for Katrina Marzella and the Cornwall Youth Brass Band and is a beautiful lyrical solo, well suited to the baritone horn's tender character. Whilst not an especially technically difficult solo, it would need a confident soloist.
Magee\s Patrol, also by Philip Harper, features angular rhythms and melody and begins very softly, reaching an energetic climax and then diminishing to finish with a lone Eb bass player. This is a piece that would make an effective concert encore.
Finally we have Prelude To A Celebration by Tom Davoren. After a reflective opening section comes a furious, driving section that leads to a huge finish. This exciting new work is bound to be extremely popular with bands looking for new ideas for concert programmes. These pieces would suit most bands from the 3rd Section up.
For the more advanced player seeking to develop their technique, range and stamina we now have in stock the iconic Systematic Approach To Daily Practice by trumpet legend Claude Gordon.

Another new arrival in our brass music is Dragon Dances by Andrew Baker. This exciting Tenor Horn solo was composed for Cory's star Horn Player Owen Farr. The solo will feature when Owen is the guest soloist with the Cornwall Youth Brass Band later this year. Andrew Baker, who composed the piece, provided last year\'s 3rd Area piece, The Once And Future King, which met with great acclaim, is establishing himself as one of the new generation of brass band composers and we look forward to more of his pieces being published.
