Take It Away

Take It Away is an Arts Council of England initiative created to help more people get involved in learning and playing music. The scheme allows 18?25 year olds to apply for an interest free loan of between £100 and £2,000 for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument, and pay it back in 9 monthly instalments (plus a minimum 10% deposit). Equipment, accessories and sometimes tuition can also be included. Applicants must be permanent residents of the UK and working for at least 16 hours per week in order to be eligible.
